Toronto’s Shah delivered an epic performance at Piano’s for the opening of Mondo NYC, New York’s music and technology festival. The festival brings a wide range of musical acts to New York, generally quite early in their careers. While this provides New Yorkers the opportunity to brag about seeing artists before they became stars, the trade off is that showcases might lack the star power present at more traditional music festivals. However, Mondo’s opening night did not disappoint. Shah’s show not only had social media buzzing but has already received rave reviews from Complex and Buzzfeed. On stage with Shah was rapper Yoshi from Atlanta. Shah and Yoshi had just performed two nights earlier in Atlanta for the A3C festival. Photo by David Quiroga
